How to Play

Play Cake Design online for free. Cake Design is a cake building sim where you must fulfill the exact orders of impatient bakery patrons. Create cakes to order as fast as you can. Meet your daily quota to clear the level. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select start to open the welcome screen.
On the welcome screen, select the pink and white play button at the bottom center of the screen to begin playing.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - With your mouse, left click to select each element of the cake design.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap the screen with your fingers to select what goes onto the cake.
    - Game Play

        The level’s quota (expressed in dollars) at the bottom of the page.
        On the top right corner are two buttons:
        The x button pauses the game and opens the exit dialog box.
        Select x if you want to return to the welcome screen.
        Choose no if you want to continue playing.
        The sound button toggles the game’s audio.
        Basic
        Assemble the cake according to the specifications of each customer.
        Satisfy the demands of as many customers as you can before the timer runs out.
        The timer starts out at 60 seconds (1 minute) and increases gradually every 2 levels.
        The game will show the phrase “hurry up” when you’re time is almost up.
        Clear the level by meeting its quota of customers and money before the timer stops.
        Assembling the cake
        The first level of the game acts as a tutorial. It will guide you through the process of building your first cakes.
        It will also show you whether you’ve fulfilled the order correctly by pointing an arrows on either the check or x buttons. If the arrow t points at the x, you did something wrong.
        The arrows do not appear elsewhere in the game.
        All the cakes in this game are assembled in stages.
        To proceed, you must click one of the options shown in the bottom left corner, then click on the check button.
        If you want to correct your order, select the x button to undo.
        You can swap out as many parts as you can before clicking on the check button. Use this to correct any mistakes before proceeding.
        There are a total of 6 stages in the cake creation process:
        Cake shape and layers
        Cream filling between layers
        Icing on the sides
        Icing on top
        Decorative toppings
        Centerpiece topping
        Each customer will demand something different from their cakes.
        Look closely at their balloons and pick the ingredient that matches the option shown exactly.
        
        Customer satisfaction
        
        A customer will only leave satisfied if you get their order exactly right.
        
        To guarantee customer satisfaction, you must finish assembling the cake as fast as you can.
        
        The customer will grow frustrated as the game goes on.
        
        First they will tap their fingers.
        
        Then, they will scowl while tapping their fingers.
        
        Finally, they snarl at you angrily while tapping their fingers fast.
        
        Make them wait too long and they will leave angrily. You will not get paid even if you do give them the cake.
        
        If you don’t get everything exactly right you will also not get paid.
        
        Scoring
        
        The score you receive from each cake depends on its size and how fast you serve it.
        
        Taller cakes command higher prices than short ones.
        
        Tips
        
        It’s more important to get the cake right than to do it fast.
        
        Don’t be afraid to double check before finishing a step. Just do it fast.
        
        A frustrated customer will still pay for an accurate cake that’s running a bit late. They will not pay for a wrong one.
        
        That said, be sure to get the cake to them before they lose their patience.
        
        Pay close attention to the details and color of the individual ingredients. Some of them can look deceptively similar.
