  • Starting the Game
    • Once this virtual music instrument loads, you can press the keys and immediately play music.
    • It comes with 25 keys: 15 white and 10 black. Expect to find 2 octaves. Octave can also be adjusted one scale down or one scale up.
    • Game Controls
      • Touchscreen
        • Make sure to rotate your device horizontally for better playing experience.
        • Using your finger, tap on the piano keys to play music as you would on an actual piano keyboard.
        • For better playing experience, use a tablet to play this piano simulator. A wider screen provides more surface area for your fingers.
        • Likewise, it produces the same sound and comes with the same keyboard preferences on mobile phones and other touchscreen computer devices.
        • Note that using a smaller screen will make it harder to press more precisely on the keys.
        • The KEY BINDINGS feature does not work on a touchscreen device unless you connect it to an external keyboard.
        • The recording feature is also not available on touchscreen. To record and download your music, use this music application on your laptop or desktop PC.
        • Mouse and Keyboard
          • Using your mouse cursor, left click on a key to produce a sound.
          • Clicking with the mouse cursor only allows you to press one key at a time. But you can assign piano keys to your keyboard buttons.
          • Multi-key Binding Feature: Select the “KEY BINDINGS” button on the upper right corner to assign keyboard buttons to piano keys.
            • Once you select KEY BINDINGS, an instruction screen appears.
            • Next, click on the key you want to assign keyboard buttons to.
            • After clicking, that key will keep blinking. For example, I want the first C piano key to be Z on the keyboard. Once I press Z, the C key stops blinking.
            • Repeat this process to other keys you want to bind. Once you’re done, click “Apply.”
            • However, if you want to reset all the assigned key bindings, simply click “Reset.”
            • Once that’s done, you’ll be able to play the piano keys you assigned on your keyboard.
            • Above the KEY BINDINGS button is the “SHOW KEY BINDINGS” box. Ticking this immediately shows the corresponding keyboard buttons for the assigned piano keys.
            • Simulator Buttons and Preferences
              • Besides the keys, there are button options you can select on top of the piano keyboard:
                • The 1st button on the upper left is a volume control. Select “+” to increase the volume or “-” to decrease the volume.
                  • The next option is the full screen mode box. This is located at the right side of the volume controls. Simply tick the full screen box to turn green with a check.
                    • If you want to go back to regular view, untick the box or press ESC on your keyboard.
                    • On the right side of the full screen box are the octave controls.
                      • For octave controls, select “-1” to put your piano key’s octave lower. If you want your octave higher, select “+1.”
                      • The normal octave is the middle square button. The button turns green to indicate you selected it.
                      • Next, you can select the “SHOW LETTER” box on the right side of the octave controls. Selecting this box will show the letter labels of each key, from major notes (white keys) and sharp notes (black keys).
                      • Below the SHOW LETTER box is the PIANO TYPE controls. Choose from 1 to 40. You can select from 40 different piano sounds on this virtual keyboard.
                      • On the right side of the SHOW LETTER box is the “COLOR STYLE” control.

                          • To record, select the red record button and start playing. This will initiate a 3-second countdown before it starts recording.
                          • The red button will turn green (ON) while it’s recording. Once you’re done recording, select it again to stop.
                          • This will automatically download the recording as a WebM file, which is an audiovisual media file format.
                          • WebM formats can be played using iTunes, Windows Media Player, VLC 2, and most other players.
